Get to know Erin! Erin is our Habitat Red Deer ReStore Assistant Manager. If you have come in to shop at our ReStore you have probably met Erin! Erin is creative and friendly and always makes sure the ReStore looks its best for our shoppers.
As Assistant Manager Erin keeps track of donations that come in from individuals and corporations. Erin is responsible for overseeing all the products that come into the ReStore and how they are displayed and maintained on the sales floor. With our new, much larger store and new products coming in regularly, this keeps Erin busy!
Erin loves seeing the families we partner with come into the ReStore. “Seeing the new families coming in eager to change their lives and it is so rewarding to be able to see and help that happen.” Erin warmly shared. Erin also likes how every day is different working at the ReStore. Every day brings something new!
Erin would like the community to know more about our Affordable Homeownership Program. Habitat Red Deer’s Affordable Homeownership program bridges the gap for families who face barriers to traditional homeownership. Families apply to the program and partner with Habitat Red Deer once accepted. Habitat Red Deer Families participate in 500 volunteer hours as part of their partnership. These hours take place in the Red Deer ReStore, on the building site, and in the community. These 500 hours are an accomplishment, showing the pride and commitment that the families have for the partnership with Habitat Red Deer. Hardworking Central Alberta Families are able to create more safe and stable futures for their families with the support of Habitat Red Deer and the Affordable Homeownership Program. It is inspiring getting to know these families and having them be part of our Habitat Red Deer community!
