The ReStore is a non profit retail store - we sell items in several categories: appliances, tools, building supplies, home décor, furniture and more!

Store Move/Closure:
March 7, 2022- March 30, 2022

Starting the week of Monday, March 7; the ReStore will be closed and will begin the process of moving to our new location in Gasoline Alley! Our last day open to the public at our North end location will be Saturday, March 5. We will be closed for at the very least 3 weeks, with a soft opening date of March 30, tentatively. We will confirm this date further into March, we just want to make sure we allow for any hiccups along the way!

A few important points to note:
• During the period we are closed, we are unable to take any donations during the move. We will be happy to take them once we re-open at our new location!
• Please no dumping; at either location.
• For the most up to date information on the store move and re-opening, follow our socials!
• Stay tuned for more information on our Grand Opening event and barbecue, Saturday April 30, 2022!

We are so excited to be finally moving into our new home, and we can’t wait to welcome you all back!

What is the ReStore?

Habitat ReStores are retail stores that accept donations of quality new and gently used items in a variety of categories including: building supplies, tools, hardware, kitchenware, home décor, furniture, appliances, lighting, electronics, plumbing, doors, windows, and more! We are non-profit, and resell the items at a fraction of the regular retail price to the general public.

About our Shop

Our inventory is always changing as donations come in, but you can generally expect to find windows, doors, paint, hardware, lumber, tools, lighting fixtures, furniture and appliances.

Donate Materials

Anyone can donate to our ReStore, located at #100, 409 Lantern Street, in Red Deer's Gasoline Alley. We will graciously accept reusable building materials, furniture, appliances, lighting, tools, hardware, home décor, kitchenware, and other new or newly used items that you no longer want or need! We also have a bin on-site for clothing donations, as well as an electronic recycling program. We are also able to issue tax receipts for your donations. Please inquire to find out more information regarding tax receipts.

Drop-off hours at the ReStore are Tuesday - Saturday from 9:30am - 4:00pm.

Return Policy

All sales are final. Some exceptions, such as appliances, toilets, and lighting.

Refunds are in-store only and we do not issue cash, debit, or credit refunds.
