At Habitat for Humanity Red Deer, we build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.
Our home ownership program is open to all Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents (for three years) from all cultures, traditions, and religions. Habitat homeowners represent a variety of family structures, including single-parent and 2-parent households, families with elderly relatives, young adults, and families with special needs. Habitat Red Deer currently prioritizes families who have at least one child under 18 in the home.
Who Can Apply?
Families are selected after meeting several criteria. Some of the basic eligibility requirements to be considered for a Habitat home are:
