Phase I Aspen Lakes- Blackfalds

On August 10, 2021 Habitat Red Deer presented keys to three new Habitat families: The Lundquist's, The Ellinson's, and The Mohammad's. Additionally, the Switzer-Clark family also took occupancy of their home, and became official homeowners in spring 2022.

Habitat Red Deer also hosted ten TeamBUILD events during this build, and also built its first ever barrier-free unit.

We are so grateful for all of our donors, community partners and volunteers who it possible for us to do the work that we do.

The Vista Triplex - Sylvan Lake

On September 26, 2019 we presented the keys to three dedicated families. The Redford's, Schatz’ and the Dodd’s all became

first-time homeowners!

The Vista Project broke ground in October of 2018 and over 9 months of the build we were blessed to meet countless volunteers. We received wonderful support from numerous Sylvan Lake volunteers, the business community and the Town of Sylvan Lake.

The Vista Triplex is now a home to three hard working families!

Habitat Red Deer builds in Lacombe

Our 2017 build at Sheep Close of 2 duplexes was part of the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project - a nation-wide Habitat initiative to build 150 homes across Canada.

The City of Lacombe, the Affordable Housing Committee, Cadman Group, and Ridgestone Homes were instrumental in making these homes a reality.

We remain forever grateful for their contributions and continued commitment to affordable housing. Our combined efforts have left a lasting community legacy of 8 affordable housing units to serve families in need for decades to come.
