Karen joined the Habitat Red Deer team as the new CEO in early July 2017. She brings over 20 years’ experience working in the charitable non-profit sector, with several years in senior managements roles.
ReStore Director of Operations
Kathy comes to Habitat Red Deer & ReStore with over 20 years of retail management experience. In the past, Kathy has worked on several projects where she oversaw the relocation and reopening of various retailers; in addition to building and managing their teams.
Nate joined the Habitat team in February 2022 as the Construction Supervisor for our upcoming build. Nate brings to the team over 25 years experience in trades and construction management making him an excellent addition to Habitat.

Joining Habitat in April 2016, Janelle is Habitat Red Deer's longest serving employee. Having worked for several years as the Family Services and Office Manager, Janelle became the go-to person for all things Habitat due to her experience, and her dedication to Habitat Red Deer and its mission.

Aspen comes to Habitat as the new Family Services & Office Manager. With a degree in Psychology, Aspen has worked for over 10 years in the disability services field, working with individuals with varying needs and abilities.
Alexis comes to Habitat Red Deer with a range of experience working in not-for-profit and community-based organizations. She has a passion for communication, community engagement and empowering others.
ReStore Assistant Manager
Erin joined the Habitat team as ReStore Assistant Manager in February 2022 and played an integral role in assisting Kathy Pipes with overseeing the ReStore re-location from its previous North Red Deer location to our current location on Gasoline Alley.
