Mike Olesen

Mike has held senior executive roles including Chief Executive Officer of Westerner Park and General Manager & Chief Financial Officer for the City of Red Deer. Mike has led complex initiatives involving governance, strategic planning, organizational transformation, financial management, and major event delivery, including leadership roles associated with the 2019 Canada Winter Games. He currently advises governments, municipalities, Indigenous organizations, and nonprofits on strategy, governance, and operational excellence. Mike is passionate about strong governance, community impact, and helping organizations align people, purpose, and resources to achieve meaningful results.
