Habitat for Humanity Red Deer officially broke ground on its Phase 2 build in the Aspen Lakes area of Blackfalds, at 5616 Vista Trail on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
With opening comments from Karen Vavrek (Habitat Red Deer CEO), Blaine Calkins (MLA Red Deer-Lacombe), and Marina Appel (Blackfalds Town Council). the groundbreaking ceremony formally introduced four new Habitat partner families.
Once completed, this build will serve a total of seven adults and 12 children!
