Inaugural Garden Party Fundraiser

Last week, our community came together for our Inaugural Garden Party Fundraiser. It was a beautiful evening filled with laughter and celebration.

The event took place at Hill Top Wedding Centre, which featured beautiful views. Stems Flowers and Café brought spring inside with gorgeous floral arrangements.

Guest had a blast participating in the live auction hosted by Scott Douglas and team: Peter Penner, Jan de Leeuw, and Al Breemersch. The team generously donated their services! Everyone enjoyed delicious food from Milly Oak Café and Catering. Meanwhile, Roadpop Mobile Bar Co. served refreshing beverages, including our signature cocktails. Megan Dawson provided live music throughout the evening, creating a fantastic atmosphere. And to help guide the night, we had MC Vinnie from New Country 95.5.

We would like to thank our event sponsors, Stingray Media, Northside Construction Partnership, and Imagine IT, for their support.

Throughout the evening, heartfelt conversations revealed Habitat Red Deer's unwavering support, a testament to the power of community coming together for a common purpose.

We hope you enjoy the pictures below from the Snap Happy Photographer. We are already looking forward to next year's Garden Party Fundraiser, knowing that it will once again be a beautiful celebration of community.

We recognize that the land on which we work, gather, and live is within the territory of the Blackfoot, Tsuu T’ina, and Stoney Nakoda peoples and that the Central Alberta region we serve falls under Treaty 6, traditional Métis, Cree, and Saulteaux territory. We acknowledge and honour the First Peoples who have lived here since time immemorial. We stand with the Indigenous peoples of Alberta and continue to advocate for reconciliation.
