Habitat Red Deer participated in its very first parade in Sylvan Lake on December 1st 2018. The Habitat truck got a holiday makeover from two of our new Sylvan Lake Habitat Homeowner families. The Dodd family and the Redford family came out to the Santa Claus parade to help decorate the truck and hand out candy to the crowds. The two families along with Habitat staff, decorated the Christmas tree, hung the truck with lights, and lit up the gifts of hope, stability, strength, family, and home. We had an excellent time following the Grinch's buggy around town!
