Congratulations to our newest Lacombe Habitat Homeowners

Congratulations to the Clark Family who are our newest Lacombe Habitat Homeowners! Chelsea and her three girls will move into their new home in the new year!

When a Habitat family moves on from their home, Habitat Red Deer has the option to buy back the home and find a new family who could use a hand up. The Clark family will move into a previously owned Habitat Home in Mackenzie Ranch in Lacombe.

We recognize that the land on which we work, gather, and live is within the territory of the Blackfoot, Tsuu T’ina, and Stoney Nakoda peoples and that the Central Alberta region we serve falls under Treaty 6, traditional Métis, Cree, and Saulteaux territory. We acknowledge and honour the First Peoples who have lived here since time immemorial. We stand with the Indigenous peoples of Alberta and continue to advocate for reconciliation.
